Mama Dragons is so very appreciative of your continued support and generosity, as we refine and expand our collaboration with Flourish Therapy, to build a safe space for parents of LGBTQ children (of any age.)
Our work continues while we are refining the needs of our community. While most people have less time to attend the group therapy sessions during the summer, we have doubled down in our planning for a rich learning environment at the "LUV Without Limits" Parent Education Conference, being held at the Salt Lake City Marriott (Downtown - City Creek location) on October 18& 19, 2024.
We are partnering with therapists from Flourish as well as community partners like National Alliance on Mental Illness, Mormon Mental Health, Equality Utah, Utah Pride Center, Encircle, and Dragon Dad to bring a 2 day conference where parents, caregivers, and mental health providers will learn, connect and create a more supportive environment for LGBTQ+ indivuduals and their families.
