Dear donors,
In recent weeks, we have shared meaningful moments across our community spaces. At COPIF, we held a special gathering to celebrate Children’s Day—an afternoon filled with games, music, and activities that brought together families, children, and caregivers in a festive and welcoming environment.
In our day-to-day work, we continue addressing essential topics for the wellbeing of families:
Jugar es Cuidar & Play Space:
We have been discussing early language development—a topic that raises many questions and shared learning among caregivers. We have now begun focusing on screen use: when, how, and in what ways to support children in healthy and mindful interactions with technology.
FortaleSiendo:
We continue fostering a space for dialogue and reflection with women in the community. This past month, we explored the concept of mental load and its impact on daily life and parenting. In the coming meetings, we will begin addressing micromachismos (subtle forms of sexism) within family dynamics, seeking to identify normalized patterns and promote more equitable relationships.
Thank you for accompanying us and helping these spaces of listening, play, and learning continue to grow. Your support makes a real difference in the lives of women, children, and families.
