Help 100 physically challenged in S/East Nigeria

The objective of Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation on "Help 100 physically challenged in S/East Nigeria (54331)" is to improve quality of life for the physically challenged in rural communities, local, state, national, or even global level. We are not dedicated to private or financial gain but to the advancement of public interest. Our short-term goals; to raise the money to assist physically challenged in rural communities and to enable us carry out our objectives by the end of the year.

FIELD WORK OBSERVATIONS

During the cause of our field work, we encountered a series of challenges. In rural areas, people with disabilities tend to face more challenges than their counterparts in urban areas. They are less likely to have attended school, less likely to be employed, less likely to be attended by a skilled health worker and less likely to own a mobile phone. We were able to attend very few people with the little funds at our reach. We planned on having major events this December. We are proposing to organize a fundraising campaign in view of the events. We are looking towards #GivingTuesday. As the event is approaching, we will remind you and request you to support us in the events.

INCOME

Received from GlobalGiving in the month of June = 90$

Proceeds from our social enterprise to support the physically challenged= 120$

Total = 210$

EXPENDITURES

Hospital bill for one of the physically challenged= 175$

Data/phone calls = 30$

Balance = 5$
