We are delighted to present the first quarterly report of 2024 for the impactful project, "Help 100 Physically Challenged in S/East Nigeria (54331)," spearheaded by The Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation and Samony Entrepreneurial Ventures LTD, with the driving force being SOHF's Impact Nexus.

Achievements:
Thanks to the generous disbursement from GlobalGiving and the support from Samony Entrepreneurial Ventures LTD, we have made significant strides in providing assistance to the underprivileged in Southeast Nigeria. This quarter, we successfully reached and positively impacted the lives of 100 physically challenged individuals, addressing their diverse needs and empowering them for a better future.

Goals for 2024:
Our overarching goal for 2024 is to expand our reach and impact. We aim to extend our support to 200 physically challenged individuals, doubling our previous impact. Additionally, we plan to enhance our programs to not only meet immediate needs but also provide sustainable solutions for long-term well-being.

Challenges Faced:
Despite our accomplishments, we acknowledge the challenges faced in executing our mission. Limited resources and the complex nature of societal issues require strategic planning and collaborative efforts. This report emphasizes the need for continued support and the imperative to overcome obstacles for sustained impact.

Expanding Social Enterprise for Sustainability:
To ensure the longevity and effectiveness of our initiatives, we recognize the need to expand Samony Entrepreneurial Ventures LTD. A robust social enterprise is key to financial sustainability and ecosystem development. This expansion will enable us to generate revenue that can be reinvested in our humanitarian services.

Financial Overview:
In Q1 2024, we received a total disbursement of $59 from GlobalGiving and $855.45 from Samony Foods.

Total income:=$914.45

The financial allocation was as follows:

1. Project-related Expenses:

- Direct assistance to physically challenged individuals: $126.35

- Medical support and rehabilitation programs: $97.30

- Educational and vocational training initiatives: $124.78

2. Administrative Costs :

- Staff salaries: $150

- Operational expenses: $100

- Outreach and awareness campaigns: $95.50

3. Program Development :
- Research and planning for expanded impact: $126.34

- Implementation of innovative solutions: $89.12

Total Expenditure: $909.39

Balance:=$5.06

Utilization of Funds:
The funds disbursed were utilized judiciously to meet the project's objectives. The breakdown demonstrates a commitment to transparency and accountability in financial management. The allocation of resources aimed at maximizing impact, ensuring that each dollar contributed has a tangible and positive effect on the lives of the physically challenged individuals we serve.
