TPF COVID-19 Community Relief Fund

We would like to thank you for enabling TPF to make a difference in many people's lives during the pandemic by supporting our Covid-19 Community Relief Fund. We wanted to share our gratitude for your support and share the impact we've made TOGETHER!

Until today, with the generous supports of 296 TPF donors, 20 partner NGOs based in Turkey and the United States have received grants totaling up to $265K. TPF COVID-19 Community Relief Fund focused on supporting nonprofit organizations working directly to respond to the pandemic among the most vulnerable populations and to hospitals to provide the much-needed gear and equipment to help build their capacity for response. With your valuable contributions, we have been able to support more than 23,000 people. Together with our partner NGOs in the field, we have been able to: provide hygiene/cleaning kits were provided to families; support over 13,000 healthcare workers with PPE or healthcare innovations; distribute more than 2,500 computers with access to the internet, and grant 13 scholarships.

While thanking you for your valuable support, we would like to remind you that the pandemic is still affecting many people negatively. We are committed to standing with our communities and supporting those impacted through TPF COVID-19 Community Relief Fund. Together, we will overcome this pandemic with your support by making sure the most vulnerable among us are protected.

TPF COVID-19 Community Relief Fund

Dear Friend,

As the global novel coronavirus outbreak continues to rapidly evolve and expand, it tests our collective strength. Millions are on lockdown and businesses are closing. Our communities both in the US and in Turkey are wondering what the long-term impact of the illness will be on their communities and their livelihoods. Paying rent and utilities, getting food, and finding basics are tougher than ever before. In response to the outbreak, Turkish Philanthropy Funds has launched the TPF COVID-19 Community Relief Fund to support containment, response, and recovery activities for those affected and for the responders.

Turkish Philanthropy Funds has worked with donors and partners on the ground to understand the effects of COVID-19 on communities and respond immediately. TPF's goal has been to support containment, response, and recovery activities for those affected and for the responders.

Until today, with the generous supports of our donors, 17 NGOs based in Turkey and in the US, have received grants in the amount of $230,184.88.  These valuable donations are being used to support vulnerable communities as well as purchase protective supplies, among other needs. With our donors' gifts, we could provide necessary protective equipment for doctors and medical staff. Together, we could help children and their families have access to healthy food and hygiene kits. Children had laptops and access to the internet to be able to continue their education.

Once again, while thanking our donors for their support we would like to remind you that the pandemic is still affecting many people. We are committed to standing with our communities and supporting those impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. Together, with your support, we will overcome this pandemic by making sure the most vulnerable among us are protected.
