Thanks to your generous support, Global Girl Project has begun a new partnership with Girls Gotta Run Foundation in Ethiopia – our first cohort launching in May–July 2026 with 20 girls.
During their 3month leadership journey, the girls will attend weekly sessions where they explore the power in their voices, identify local issues, and learn practical leadership skills in project planning and advocacy.
The programme will culminate in a girlled community event, where participants will raise awareness and inspire action on issues they care about – such as girls' education, early marriage, and economic empowerment.
The $49 raised has funded one girl's education grant, helping her stay in school and fully engage in leadership training. We previously worked in Ethiopia and are now returning with a new partnership, excited to build on past connections and reach even more girls.
