Train 150 Youth in Auto Mechanic Skills

Summary

Many young people in Ghana face unemployment due to a lack of practical vocational skills. Auto mechanic training offers a strong pathway to employment and self-reliance, especially in communities with growing demand for vehicle repair services. This project will provide hands-on auto mechanic training, tools, and startup support for 150 unemployed youth to help them gain employable skills and build sustainable livelihoods.

Challenge

Youth unemployment remains high in many communities, with many young people lacking access to technical and vocational training. Without practical skills, they struggle to find stable jobs or start their own businesses. This contributes to poverty, frustration, and limited economic opportunities for young people.

Solution

This project will train 150 youth in auto mechanic skills, including vehicle diagnostics, engine repair, electrical systems, servicing, and workshop safety. Participants will receive practical hands-on training and basic tools to help them gain experience and start working in garages or set up small repair businesses.

Long-Term Impact

This project will equip 150 youth with employable auto mechanic skills, reduce unemployment, and create new income opportunities. It will also strengthen local automotive service capacity and support long-term economic independence for vulnerable young people.
