Dear donors, thank you for your donation and for choosing to support boys who are often forgotten. Your kindness offers them a chance to step away from the streets and toward a safer, more dignified future.
This project is necessary because millions of boys in Nigeria grow up without access to school or skills training. Many live on the streets, where daily survival exposes them to gangs, theft, and cybercrime. Without education or a trade, even boys who want honest work have few options. Over time, this traps them in poverty and puts both their lives and their communities at risk.
The tailoring training program is designed to provide a clear and practical alternative. By training 1,500 street boys in tailoring, we give them a skill that is in steady demand across Nigeria. During training, transport and daily meals will be provided so participants can attend regularly and focus on learning. After graduation, each boy will receive a sewing machine and support with shop rent, allowing him to start work immediately and earn an income.
At this point, the funds raised so far are not yet enough to begin full project activities. Additional support is needed to cover training materials, instructor costs, meals, and startup tools for the boys. While implementation has not started, your early support is a strong foundation and shows that this work matters.
With continued support, this project can replace crime with skills, restore dignity, and help thousands of boys build stable livelihoods and contribute positively to their communities.
With regards,
