Dear Donors,
Thank you for your interest in expanding economic opportunities for nurses in Nigeria. Your support recognizes the need for practical income skills that can strengthen both livelihoods and the health sector.
Many nurses and nursing students rely on costly imported scrubs and lab coats. Nursing schools rarely provide garment-making skills, leaving graduates without additional income options. Some remain unemployed or underpaid, while hospitals struggle to afford quality uniforms. This project will train 500 nurses and students to design and sew scrubs, lab coats, and patient gowns using locally sourced materials. After completing the program, each participant will receive a sewing machine and a small start-up grant to begin production. Participants will also be linked to hospitals and clinics as potential buyers.
At present, no donations have been received, and funding is required before training and equipment distribution can begin. We kindly invite you to support or share this initiative so nurses can build sustainable businesses and supply affordable healthcare garments locally.
With sincere appreciation,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
