Project Report | Apr 14, 2016
71 funded to attend ITIE 2016 Int'l Conference

By john lee et al | Project Leader

Evergreen Succeeded the Open Challenge

We have successfully completed the GlobalGiving March Open Challenge and won the partnership to use the GlobalGiving platform.  That means,  more functions and best practice are available to us for the November conference.

During the 12-day campaign, Evergreen Education Foundation has received strong support and generous donation from 142 donors.  Among 232 organizations that participated in the Open Challenge, we received highest donation amount of $21,460 and won an additional bonus prize of $3,000!  This sum raised, net of cost of the platform, equates to you sponsoring 71 teachers to attend the November conference.

Many donors enthusiastically helped promoting Evergreen to their friends and social circles, providing suggestions to us to improve marketing and broadcasting.  We are learning and growing, together with you as partners to advance the educational situation in rural China.

Meanwhile, here is a work in progress to show what the November Conference is about.   Here is a video draft .  Please take a look and let us know what you think.  Your feedback would be invaluable.

Due to space and language limitation on this platform, attached bilingual version.
