Students to Participate in Teacher Practice

By Stacy Dry Lara | GWI Executive Director

Graduate Women International (GWI) would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to the Teachers for Rural Futures program. Your support is not just a financial contribution but a lifeline for the female students from rural regions in Uganda. Because of you, these girls are overcoming economic, cultural, and social barriers to education.

With excitement and anticipation, we would like to update you that our current students will participate in the student-practice internship this summer. Our students are enthusiastic and ready to participate in teaching actively where they will directly acquire teaching experience. During the student practice, supported by you, the students will can apply to theoretical knowledge lenared in the classroom to real-life classroom settings.

After the student practice, the Teachers for Rural Futures students wlll have more confidence and knowledge to apply to their teaching. The impact of your donations is most evident in the girls' growing passion and enthusiasm for becoming Ambassadors for Education in their rural communities.

Once again, we want to emphasize the profound impact of your trust and support in GWI. Your contributions are not just financial but also bring hope to girls in rural Uganda. We are truly grateful for your past donations and we eagerly look forward to your continuous support in empowering young women through education. Your partnership is invaluable to us and to the girls whose lives you are changing

With sincere appreciation.
