Dear Teachers for Rural Futures Donors:
Graduate Women International (GWI) extends sincere appreciation for your generous support of the Teachers for Rural Futures program. Your donations continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young women from rural Uganda, enabling them to become qualified secondary school teachers and strong voices for girls’ education in their communities.
Recently, your support allowed GWI to welcome two new students into the program. The new students are from the Bugiri and Amuria districts of Uganda where limited infrastructure, poverty, and child marriage hinder access to education.
These dedicated young women are beginning their Bachelor’s degrees in Education. Over the next three years, your contributions will cover their tuition, accommodation, study materials, and other essential needs, allowing them to focus on their academic and professional growth.
GWI is deeply grateful for your continued partnership and belief in the power of education to create enduring change through Teachers for Rural Futures.
With much appreciation,
Stacy
