Dear friend,
We are grateful for the donations received so far. Although the funds are not yet enough to begin, your kindness and interest mean a lot. This project is close to our hearts because traditional barbers play a quiet but important role in many Nigerian communities, especially in rural areas where modern salons are few.
Most traditional barbers still use unsterilized blades or share clippers between clients without proper cleaning. This puts both the barbers and their customers at risk of infections such as HIV, hepatitis, and other sexually transmitted diseases spread through blood contact. Many of them simply lack training and tools to stay safe.
Our plan is to train 100 barbers on basic hygiene, safe tool use, and infection control while providing sterilization kits and gloves. The goal is simple — protect lives while helping them maintain their daily work.
Your continued support will help us reach more villages and make sure barbers can work safely without risking the health of their communities.
With appreciation,
Ugbede Ojo Dominic Kadiri
