Dear donors,
It has been a while since you heard from Rede Cidadã. That does not mean we have stopped our work to promote human and social development, for integration into the world of work, uniting companies, civil society and public autorities.
Since the COVID 19 pandemic started, Rede Cidadã, as all organizations in the world, had to rethink and redesign its way of work. And you can imagine how hard this was for an organization dealing with the most vulnerable people in need of income to survive. Shifting its activities from personal contact to the online word was one of the biggest challenges the organization faced since it started its operations 19 years ago.
Even with all odds against us, we were able to grow significantly in reach and number of people we were able to support into a more dignified life through the development of socio emotional skills and job placement. We were able to place almost 8,800 people into work and generated more than 1,100 new partnerships with companies, nonprofit organizations, and government entities.
We will need your support to be able to achieve our goals 2022 and we will be adding new projects based on our needs such as computer labs in our new locations, transportation, and food to place people into work, and many other things.
We count with your support to place more than 15,000 vulnerable people in to work in 2022!
