The "Tech for developing 600 youngs in social risk" project received good attendance during the donation campaign in June and July of this year. More than 5,000 people participated in the campaign and of these, about 3,000 made donations. It is also important to say that most of the participants of the campaign are young beneficiaries of social projects of Rede Cidadã, who saw in the assembly of the Innovation and Technology Room the chance to enter the promising IT market with a more advanced training.
However, despite the strong mobilization achieved, we have not been able to achieve the goal of donation necessary for the assembly of the room and we continue to go for it. The equipment is expensive and requires a great investment.
If you believe that study and work are the key to bringing sustainable development to people who are at social risk, such as the youth served by Rede Cidadã (Citizen Network), make your donation to this project. We have 600 Brazilians looking forward to this opportunity.
"We, young people, are the future of Brazil. Without this opportunity we will not have another way to enter the job market. This is going to be the chance of our first job. We are capable! The young ones are easy to learn things",says Gabrielle, young apprentice of Rede Cidadã (Citizen Network).
"Rede Cidadã (Citizen Network) was created to promote citizenship through work", explains Fernando Alves, Executive Director of the organization. "From the outset we believe that citizenship happens when people can own their own lives and for that they need work and income generation. So we started preparing young people for the world of work. "
Take part in this campaign and give Brazil a chance.
