After the June and July campaign in 2016, the "Tech for developing 600 youngs in social risk" project has been struggling with a lack of resources to be implemented. More than 5,000 people participated in the last campaign and of these, about 3,000 made donations. It is also important to say that most of the participants of the campaign are young beneficiaries of social projects of Rede Cidadã, who saw in the assembly of the Innovation and Technology Room the chance to enter the promising IT market with a more advanced training.
However, despite the strong mobilization achieved, we have not been able to achieve the goal of donation necessary for the assembly of the room and we continue to go for it. The equipment is expensive and requires a great investment and the amount of donations got smaller after te last campaign.
Citizen Network (Rede Cidadã) has been working for almost 15 years preparing people for work and for life. We believe that work gives people autonomy, independence, personal development and self-esteem. In all these years, we have inserted more than 61,000 people into the labor market, with great results to their social, economic and personal development.
So we are looking for funds for our Transform Lives of 600 Unemployed Young Brazilians project. Gradually, we are getting the resources needed to set up our Innovation and Technology Room, but we still need a lot of help.
Many thanks to all who have helped us. We also ask you to invite your family and friends and all come to participate in the transformation of life of 600 young Brazilians who are waiting for the opportunity of a better life.
Take part in this campaign and give Brazil a chance.
