The Médio Juruá Territorial Program released the results of its second year of activities. From July 2018 to September 2019, more than 2,000 people have benefited from social and economic improvements through their participation in sustainable local value chains. Highlights include the commercialization of eight tons of vegetable oil and 104 tons of pirarucu; an increase of 40% in comparison to the previous year. The Program is funded by USAID, Natura and Coca-Cola Brazil, coordinated by SITAWI Finance for Good and realized in partnership with members of the Médio Juruá regional governance Forum.
