Over the past three months, Sitawi started managing several new philanthropic funds, each addressing some of Brazil’s most pressing socioenvironmental challenges. The Pacto Contra a Fome Fund is addressing food insecurity nationwide. The BrasilWara Fund is supporting the development of an educational app focused on Brazilian indigenous languages and cultures. The AmbiAfro Fund is promoting initiatives at the intersection of environmental sustainability and racial justice. And the Escola do Impossível Fund is driving educational transformation through innovative training programs for teachers.
In addition, Aldeias Infantis SOS, part of the world’s largest care movement for children and families, has established a new Endowment Fund with Sitawi and Endowments do Brasil to ensure the long-term sustainability of its work protecting children, adolescents, young people, and families.
These new initiatives join Sitawi’s growing ecosystem for impact, expanding our reach and deepening our partnerships with organizations and communities across Brazil.
