Transforming the Social Finance sector in Brazil

A year of changes, achievements, awards, and multiplication of positive impacts. In 2021, the concept of impact gained even more attention in the social and environmental agenda of Brazil and the world. Thus, we present SITAWI's journey of innovation and impact through our 2021 Annual Report. The material gives transparency to the main results attained through the initiatives we carried out during the year. In addition, we invite you to learn about the causes and projects we develop through many partnerships and collaborators committed to our same purpose. 

For us, each resource mobilized, each hectare of forest conserved, and, above all, each person reached, represents one more step on the road to expanding capital access for causes and organizations committed to a positive social and environmental impact. With your support and our network of partners, collaborators, and employees, we reached:

• BRL115 million mobilized
• 4 million people benefited from our actions
• 1 million hectares conserved in the Amazon
• 1000+ initiatives supported
• around 40 Philanthropic Funds and Territorial Programs managed

Last year was also a year of outstanding achievements for SITAWI and we want to celebrate with you! For the 4th time, we were recognized as one of the 100 best NGOs in Brazil. We also won the Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award, by Folha de S. Paulo and Schwab Foundation. Besides, we conquered a Great Place to Work certification.

We are grateful to have you on this journey! We continue to believe that Finance for Good is essential to fulfilling an agenda of positive transformation.
