Hi everyone! Find attached our latest report.
Thank you so much for your support!
Transition house
We are delighted to share some new developments in Coralia and Jonás’s journey.
Coralia has embarked on a new professional chapter and is enjoying her new job in the area of elderly care. Meanwhile, Jonás started at a new daycare center, where he is gradually forming new bonds, making friends, and discovering new things every day.
In addition, both of them enjoyed a four day camp specifically designed for young mothersfilled with outdoor activities. It was an experience of a lifetime.
Mentoring
The young women continue to participate in weekly training sessions on respectful parenting, strengthening the knowledge and skills that support their children's development and well-being.
We are also delighted that one of the young women has completed courses in medical sales representation and financial accounting; this has enhanced her qualifications and opens up new opportunities for her future.
Group home Activities
Over the past month, the girls have deepened their understanding of the importance of saving during financial education classes. We have also shared moments of laughter and fun with them through various activities organized by the home.
Institutional
We have successfully registered La Senda with Spain’s National Registry of Associations—a crucial step bringing us closer to our goal of ensuring that, in the future, donations made from Spain qualify for tax benefits for our supporters. We have also been coordinating and following up with the Haitian Consulate in Santiago to facilitate obtaining the girls' official documentation, thereby advancing a process that is fundamental to their development and stability.
Thank you!
