The association *Amis des Bibliothèques de Villages du Burkina Faso* (ABVBF) continues its commitment to promoting reading and libraries in rural areas. On July 2, 2026, the *Bibliothèque mobile Pénélope* (BMP)—or "Penelope Mobile Library"—stopped at Houndé School A for a community outreach activity. Upon arrival,Program Assistant and BMP Manager transformed the school grounds. Within minutes, benches were set up and a wide variety of colorful books lined the shelves, creating a welcoming atmosphere perfect for discovery. Scarcely had the setup been completed when the team welcomed two young patrons. Curious, the children received reading guidance; The ABVBF animators walked them step-by-step through books suited to their reading levels, fostering an engaging exchange. Beyond this guidance, the facilitators also raised awareness among the young readers. This outing once again demonstrates the impact of the ABVBF on the daily lives of school communities by bringing books closer to those who need them.
