Mobile library continues to operate

The FAVL mobile library in Houndé, Burkina Faso, continues its activity, providing access to books and educational resources for the local community of schoolchildren. Every week, the mobile library travels to different schools, allowing students to read after school hours. Children gather to participate in storytelling sessions and game activities. FAVL works with partner organization ABVBF. Expenses of the mobile library are the monthly salary of the animator, a small payment for keeping the mobile library in a secure place at night, gas for visits, and periodic restocking of books and puzzles. In coming months FAVL will work with ABVBF to clean and repair mats and purchase new ones.
