A female jungle cat was brought in from the outskirts of Ahmedabad, she was hit by a speeding car and the car following behind happened to be a bunch of animal lovers, who immediately stopped and picked her up. She was unconscious when brought to our hospital, her hind legs were also in a bad shape. After examination and x-ray, our vets found that she had multiple fractures in her hind quarters. Thankfully one leg was still intact, but the other leg had many fractures in one leg itself. Along with that she also had a broken hip. Our expert vets operated on her and fixed pins inside her legs to fix her fractures, her hip was wired for support for it to heal correctly in place. It took us more than 6 long months of follow-up, medication and then later physical exercise and infrared therapy. At the end of this long ordeal the jungle cat was back on her feet and released to her natural habitat.
