Greetings to all our donors and well-wishers,
First of all, thank you for your generous donations towards the Trauma Care Centre for Stray Animals and Birds project, the center is a houseful of 1000 injured stray animals and birds under the treatment and care. We could do this only with your help and we are immensely grateful for that.
Ahmedabad city is home to a large population of street animals and wild birds due to its rich diversity of flora and fauna that receive little to no medical attention throughout their lives and often live in deplorable conditions. Many animals are also subjected to abuse at the hands of human beings. We believe every animal deserves to be treated with love and respect, so taking this thought in mind we have initiated this project to help these distressed lives to lead better healthy, and stress-free life.
Since we have taken this project we have rescued and rehabilitated above 1 lakhs orphaned, abandoned, abused animals and birds to nature. However, the number of distressed street animals in need continues to grow. With your support, we hope to continue to protect street animals across the city. In February 2021 we have treated the below-mentioned cases at our center;
Each case requires basic first aid & care, a diagnostic workup followed by treatment, and a post-operative recovery period before release. All of them require plenty of medications, both short-term & long-term as per the requirement of the case, nutritious diet to recover properly.
Administration of medicines and food is a crucial aspect of our trauma care and runs like clockwork. Apart from the animals at our trauma care unit, we have received a huge number of wild birds and Raptors (Birds of prey) who require long-term medications and food for their chronic diseases. As a specialty hospital for street animals and birds in need, your generous donations will help us ensure that these animals receive the best medical attention possible.
We continue to look forward to your support, as every contribution of yours helps us go that extra mile, which is most often the bridge between life and death for these beautiful creatures.
