Hairline fractures are tiny cracks in the middle of a bone. It is comparatively easy to deal with hairline fractures, but ignoring can lead to a serious fracture, even break. Some hairline fractures need surgery, but most of them can heal with a splint bandage. Generally, it takes 4 to 8 weeks to heal completely, depending upon the case.
‘Mark’ is a playful young dog who has been under the care of his local owner Rameshbhai (name changed), since he was a kid. His mother passed away in a car accident when Mark and his siblings were 3 weeks old. Rameshbhai took care of them all, but Mark is close to his heart.
Being a playful dog, he fell from a building staircase while playing with his gang and fractured his leg. Mark started howling in pain. Seeing him in that condition, Rameshbhai immediately brought him to Jivdaya for treatment. After examining, our doctors found a hairline fracture in his leg and stabilized with a splint bandage. Mark will take few more weeks to recover completely, but he slowly started walking with the bandage on. It gives us immense pleasure to see his progress. We are hoping that he will start hopping and jumping soon under Rameshbhai’s care and affection.
We thank you all for helping us provide timely treatment and rehabilitation to Mark and many other lives like him. We are proud to have you in our family, and together we have a long way to go. Thank you once again for having our back.
