Sheru’ is an Alpha male who rules his territory and keeps his area safe from any outsiders. Though he is an alpha male dog, he is extremely lovable and adorable too. In a word, Sheru is the favorite one in his area.
He has a couple of human friends who take regular care of his food, health, and wellbeing. Sheru was doing well, but suddenly people saw a tumor forming in his hind leg, and it became a huge one within a few months. One of his caretakers got in touch with an animal rescuer Vijay Dabi who immediately took Sheru to our hospital. After an examination, our team of vets declared that it was a huge Lipoma and decided to perform surgery.
Lipomas are among the most common types of tumors seen in dogs. A lipoma is a fatty mass found anywhere on a dog's body, typically under the skin. They usually feel soft and moveable. These are generally non-cancerous. Looking at his condition, people thought that doctors needed to remove his limb to save his life, but thanks to our doctors, they saved his life and his leg.
After multiple hours’ surgeries and a month-long follow-up, Sheru is now backing in his locality and has become a celebrity. He has gained back his strength to take care of his area again.
Dear Friends, we have been able to save many others like Sheru with your kind support, but there are many left who are suffering every day. We need to reach them too. Please share our story with your friends & family, so they can also join their hands. Together we will be able to save more and more lives and make a better future for our next generation.
Remember, we can only have a better life when every living being gets a chance to survive.
