During cold nights we snuggle into our blankets and jackets, our furry friends on the streets have no option but to suffer through the cold. In such a scenario, imagine the plight of strays on the streets, who often battle with bone-chilling temperature including unexpected winter showers which come with some deadly viral infections.
Also, this is the month of ‘Uttarayan- The Kite flying festival’ when people start flying kite way before the time in Gujarat. Many regional and migrated birds lose their limbs & lives due to the deadly glass-coated kite string.
December is the month when our team starts preparing to face the scariest and most brutal side of the ‘Uttarayan’.
