On 16th World Rabies Day, Jivdaya Charitable Trust participated and celebrated this day by providing Anti-rabies vaccination (ARV) to all the patients in the outpatient department. Every year 28th September is celebrated as ‘World Rabies Day’ (Death Anniversary of Louis Pasteur) and this year the theme was ‘One Health, Zero Death’. The Global strategic plan is to eliminate dog-mediated human rabies death by 2030 through vaccination, awareness, various community engagement program and collaboration. Jivdaya took a strong part in this program and vaccinated each dog with ARV (Anti-rabies vaccine). We receive more than 100 patients a day and we have planned to vaccinate every patient that comes to our facility for treatment and is physically able to take the vaccine. Jivdaya believes that with the increasing awareness amongst people and communities we will be able to make Ahmedabad a Rabies-free city soon.
Thank you for your support. Your contributions not only make a difference in the stray animal’s life, but it is touching all human lives too. We love you all.
