A Stray Dog’s Journey to Healing from a painful Bacterial Dermatophytes:
A stray dog suffering from a severe bacterial dermatophyte infection was recently rescued and brought to Jivdaya Charitable Trust. The poor animal had been battling this painful skin condition for nearly six to seven months, with its condition deteriorating over time.
Upon arrival, our veterinary team conducted a thorough examination. Using a Wood’s lamp, the doctors diagnosed the fungal infection and further confirmed it through a skin scraping and lab test. Once the diagnosis was clear, we immediately started an intensive treatment plan, including oral antifungal medication, antibiotics, and medicated antifungal baths.
After two months of dedicated care, the dog has shown significant improvement. Its skin is healing, and it is on the path to a full recovery. Seeing this transformation fills us with immense joy, and we are confident that this resilient pup will soon regain its health completely.
At Jivdaya Charitable Trust, we remain committed to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need, ensuring they get a second chance at a healthier and happier life.
