Jivdaya Charitable Trust (JCT) is well known for its Bird hospitalnad its avian care. We treat all wild and water birds, rehabilitate and release them back to nature to keep our ecosystem balanced with its beautiful creations.
We received a Bay-backed Shrike found weak and dull near a highway, likely due to exhaustion, dehydration,or mild illness. Local rescuer brought the Shrike to our care where the bird received supportive treatment, fluids therapy, and proper nutrition in a calm environment. Over a few days, it regained strength, resumed normal feeding, and began flying actively in the flight practice cage. Once vet detirmined its full recovered, the Shrike was successfully released back into the wild, where it adapted well.
