Glue trap is a common way to get rid of the mise in our urban set up. These traps are not only inhumane but equally dangerous for other animals and birds. We received a beautiful treepie bird stuck on a glue trap with a dead mouse. Its assumed that the glue trap was discarded on the road with the dead mouse and this bird was stuck when tried to feed on that dead mouse.
Thankfully, a passerby discovered this bird and brought the bird with glue trap to Jivdaya for immediate help. Our team acted really fast and successfully removed the bird from that trap. After treating the bird for shock and dehydration, they cleaned the glue with the help of mild hypoaalergenic baby oil. After a long 15 days treatment, the bird regained its strength and releaded back to the nature.
