Peacock Under Rehabilitation
Jivdaya Charitable Trust (JCT) received a beautiful Peacock from a nearby village in Ahmedabad that was unable to stand due to a severe foot deformity and associated bacterial infection. The bird was immediately taken under medical treatment, supportive feeding, and daily follow-up care.
The rehabilitation team initiated physiotherapy, sling support, and custom foot padding to help correct the foot position and improve mobility. With consistent care and patience, the peacock has shown steady improvement and is now in a stable condition.
Although the journey has been long, every small step has been a sign of hope. The team remains optimistic that, after complete rehabilitation, the peacock will soon be released back into its natural habitat where it belongs.
