Halfway of 2025 - Progress Report

By Zeynep Nazl Tibukoglu | International Relations Junior Officer

As we move beyond the first half of 2025, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every donor who has stood by our side in the fight against childhood leukemia. Your generosity, empathy, and unwavering commitment continue to fuel our mission: bringing life-saving care and renewed hope to thousands of children and families navigating the unimaginable.

Since our previous report, we are proud to share that 66 new donations have been received, reducing the outstanding balance toward our $350,000 fundraising goal to $322,869. This encouraging development is not just a financial milestone—it is a testament to the power of community and shared purpose. Every single donation, regardless of its amount, brings us one step closer to saving lives and shaping brighter futures.

Beyond the numbers, the impact of your contributions can be seen in the growing number of lives we are touching. As of August 2025, LÖSEV now supports more than 113,517 registered leukemia and cancer patients, a number that continues to rise each day. Behind each statistic is a child fighting for their future, a family holding onto hope, and a network of donors like you helping to make recovery possible.
