LÖSEV, The Foundation for Children with Leukemia is a non-governmental (NGO) and a not-for-profit public benefit organization that has been providing support for more than 70.000 children with leukemia and cancer, adult cancer patients and their families since 1998.
As 87 % of the families of the children diagnosed with leukemia who are registered to LÖSEV are from a low-income background and 11% have no income at all, LÖSEV provides complimentary treatment at LÖSANTE Hospital. Intensive treatment, accommodation and meals are completely free of charge for the patients and the accompanying mothers.
Since we apply a hollistic approach in our Hospital, It is important for us to provide those children feel as they are at home and happy.
The total revenue generated in this project was $2,715 (51.180,47 Turkish Liras). With this donation, support was provided for the furniture, toys and equipment used in the playrooms of our children who are treated in our LÖSANTE hospital, which was built with our "Donate a Brick" campaign as well.
The treatment of leukemia and cancer can only turn into success with the support of individuals, institutions and corporate partners from all around the world.
