"The deepest craving of human nature is the need to be appreciated." We cannot but thank you immensely for your kindness, generosity, and expression of solidarity to our project,
"TREE PLANTING IN S/EAST: COMMUNITY CLIMATE ACTION (54616)".
In the past three months of our last project report, we are faced with financial challenges. We haven't made much progress due to ongoing economic recession, slow economic growth, corruption, and increased population. According to reports by the National Bereau of Statistics (NBS), in 2021, the country's unemployment rate was nearing a whooping 40%. All these factors are seriously having negative effect in our humanitarian services.
Within the last three months of our report, we have received additional donation of $13.50 through GlobalGiving in continuation of our humanitarian services.
Income
1) Received through GlobalGiving =$13.50
Deficit of last project report brought forward = $-3.31
Balance =$10.19
As earlier on mentioned above, the major problems we face in our project management is occasioned by poor funding, inadequate equipment to execute the projects, absence of technical expertise, economic and political instability and environmental . All these contribute to delaying our performance in our humanitarian services.
Humans and wild animals face new challenges for survival because of climate change. More frequent and intense drought, storms, heat waves, rising sea levels, melting glaciers and warming oceans can directly harm animals, destroy the places they live, and wreak havoc on people's livelihoods and communities.
It is widely acknowledged that Africa is the continent most vulnerable to climate change and the least equipped to cope. These challenges include land degradation, deforestation, biodiversity loss, and other climate-related vulnerabilities.
Everyone can help limit climate change. From the way we travel, to the electricity we use and the food we eat, we can make a difference. We can tackle the climate crisis through; Save energy at home
Much of our electricity and heat is powered by coal, oil and gas. Also, use less energy by lowering our heating and cooling, switching to LED light bulbs and energy-efficient electric appliances, washing our laundry with cold water or hanging things to dry instead of using a dryer.
Once again, thank you for your generous donation to "TREE PLANTING IN S/EAST: COMMUNITY CLIMATE ACTION (54616)" that supported these efforts.
As the crises rages on, insecurity, uncertainty, and humanitarian needs abound. We are committed to providing humanitarian and long-term support to rural communities.
Moreso, #givingtuesday campaign is right around the corner, November 29, we will be grateful to partner with you on that special day. We will also give you update as the campaign approaches through our project appeal letter as a reminder for the campaign exercises. Thanks for considering our organization and proud to partner with us.
With Kindest regards,
Samonyemaechi humanitarian.
