Update on the progress report on

By James Rosita N | Project Leader

Dear Donor Family: I have been thinking about you and your family since we received a donation from you through our GlobalGiving fundraising page. We want you to know that we continue to give thanks each day for this gift in support for our on-going humanitarian Services to HELP FIGHT CLIMATE ACTION IN S/EAST NIGERIA (54616)

We are thrilled by your magnanimous heart. We want to, in a special way thank you immensely for your kindness and generosity to our project. Thanks for your support which has helped us impact many lives in our community. We do not take your donations for granted at all, it's gratefully appreciated.

The objective of Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation on HELP FIGHT CLIMATE ACTION IN S/EAST NIGERIA (54616) is to reduce risk and vulnerability to climate change, strengthen resilience, enhance well-being and the capacity to anticipate, and respond successfully to change. We are not dedicated to private or financial gain but to the advancement of public interest. Our short-term goals; to raise the money to assist climate change in rural communities and to enable us carry out our objectives by the end of the year.

FIELD WORK OBSERVATIONS

During the cause of our field work, we were able to record extreme weather patterns—fiercer, longer dry seasons and shorter, more intense rainy seasons—are exacerbating challenges confronting local communities. Extensive cultivation and overgrazing have been compounded by desertification, rendering large swaths of land in northern Nigeria unproductive.

We weren't able to attend to climate action due to lack of funds. We planned on having major events this December. We are proposing to organize a fundraising campaign in view of the events. We are looking towards #GivingTuesday. As the event is approaching, we will remind you and request you to support us in the events.

Thank you for your donation and getting your network to do the same. Without your fraternal solidarity we wouldn't have been able to carry out our humanitarian Services to the community we serve. You made it what it is today. Thanks for being there for us. We appreciate.

In solidarity
