Asar Humanity aims to deliver relief aid for those who are affected by the devastating storm at Rohingya refugee camp between Bangladesh's Cox's Bazar district and the city of Rakhine region, Myanmar. The storm destroyed almost all the houses, shelters, schools, medical facilities and other public infrastructures in Sittwe. There are around 130,000 Rohingya living in refugee camps since 2012. This project is targeted to provide urgent basic needs and recovery programs for the affected people.
Tropical Cyclone Mocha destroyed the coastal region between Bangladesh's Cox's Bazar district and the city of Rakhine region, Myanmar, making landfall on Sunday. There are around 130,000 Rohingya living in refugee camps since 2012. Most of them still seek refuge.
This project is targeted to provide urgent basic needs such as food, drinking water, safe housing, and recovery programs for the affected people.
This project will help the affected people to recover from the devastating disaster on an emergency level until they can get back on their feet. Furthermore we plan to provide them empowerment programs as they can work and be financially independent.
