We want to take this last opportunity to thank you all of you who have donated and showed your care for Turkey and Syria after the devastating earthquake.
Romi's Way has collected a total amount of 1000.03USD and has donated 500USD to both organisations (including bank charges and transfer fees), Amal Healing and Advocacy Center (AHAC) based on Antakya, Turkey and to Lawyers and Doctors of Human RIghts (LDHR) based in Gaziantep, Turkey. Both organisations work with Syrians and with Turkish individuals.
While the losses remaing unimaginable, it is the care, compassion and support of other human beings that really helps in hard times.
We have spoken with the CEO's of both organistaiona, Dr. Mahmoud Aswad for LDHR and Mrs. Amal Al-Nasin for AHAC and they have both expreressed their sincerely gratitude for your donations and care. Both of these non-profit organistaions have noted the funds are to be used to support their team and their work, and/or their physcosocial support needs helping with their recovery and healing.
