We are aware of how valuable your contributions are, and we are grateful to you. With your generous donations, we have been able to meet the basic needs of many children and support their psychological healing. Thanks to your help, we have created a positive change in the lives of children.
It has been over a year since the earthquake, yet the problems in the region persist. The people in the region still need the support of many organizations like ours. The work we started immediately after the earthquake continues with your contributions. In the projects we have implemented here, we observed that besides meeting the basic needs of earthquake victims, there is also a need for psychological support. We have implemented projects for psychological support for children. We have established children's playgrounds in five districts of Hatay. A girl playing with her friends in the park set up in the Samandag district shared her happiness: "Our biggest dream was to have a slide here, and now we have one. We are very happy because these dreams have come true."
We continue distribution activities to meet basic needs. During the distributions, we prioritize items such as drinking water, food packages, underwear, baby formula, diapers, adult diapers, sanitary pads, and hygiene materials that are urgently needed and regularly used by women and children. We have reached approximately 30,000 people in Hatay over the course of a year.
During group activities conducted with psychologists accompanying women, we also organize separate activities for children to socialize, have fun, and release their energy. Children play active games, draw pictures, and engage in coloring activities with the assistance of child development specialists. So far, over 700 children have benefited from these activities.
Without your generous contributions, the successful progress of this project would not have been possible. With your support, we have been able to ease the lives of disaster victims to some extent. Your donations to meet the basic needs of children and support their psychological healing will have a positive impact on their lives.
