Indonesia is now the world's sixteenth largest economy with a GDP of US$700 billion. However, according to World Bank data, there are still more than 103 million (43.3%) people living below the poverty line with an additional 38.5% whose income is between $2 and $4 dollar per day. This means that more than 81% of the population is poor or at the border of poverty. Indonesia has a young population, with more than half of its people under 29 years of age and many will never go to school.
Due to the Pandemic, your kind donation will facilitate online learning for the students of our 32 (closed) learning centres all across Indonesia. With your help, children at the bottom of the pyramid will still be educated and ready to make their mark in life. We not only teach the basic studies required but teach the students English and basic computer studies, along with the soft skills that are necessary to their employability. Your support is vital to ensure that no child is left behind.
