Trees for health and sustainable

By Johannes Shikuloh | Project Leader

With two trees in each house could safe 20 children every year.

This project continues to work around clock and keep providing training, mobilization and give trees to young girls who partly or drop out of school.

During the time under review, 20 households were reached and provided with fruit trees (seedlings). Our volunteers team have to monitor the progress of the trees every three months to short out challenges and recommend for replicate where possible.

Community members who managed to reach the goal will then recommended for next step to receive the additional two trees of the same type.

In six months, those who managed to reach the second goal will then be recommended for two different types of the previous one.

This process will continue to the level where a household would get up to 10 trees all, this will help young women to have future income, food on the table and will help them sustain their children in future since they are now self sustainable.
