Dear Supporter,
In response to the devastating impact of Typhoon Kristie, which struck the Philippines on October 26, we are deeply grateful to our donors whose swift support enabled the distribution of 385 relief packs to families in the hardest-hit areas through our local partner, Angat Buhay Foundation.
The 385 food packs supported by FundLife was combined with other relief efforts to assist Angat Buhay reaching communites hardest hit. These relief packs contained essential supplies such as rice, bottled water, and dry goods, were critically needed in places like Naga, Bicol—one of the regions worst affected by the storm.
Severe Tropical Storm Kristine, locally known as Kristie, caused significant destruction across Bicol and Naga City, resulting in widespread flooding and landslides that claimed lives and displaced thousands. Our main distribution efforts focused on these areas, providing immediate relief to those most in need.
While we are thankful for the generous contributions that have made our initial response possible, the situation remains dire. With the typhoon season expected to bring more storms in the coming weeks, continued support is crucial.
We urge our donors and the global community to remain engaged and help us sustain our efforts to support recovery and rebuild lives.
Your support not only aids in immediate relief but also bolsters resilience against future calamities. Please consider extending your support as we help these communities navigate through these challenging times. Together, we can continue to support local efforts responding to families during these very difficult times.
