Dear all Friends,
Greetings from Leyte. Our initiative supporting local residents badly affected by Typhoon Hagupit is on-going. As to this reporting date, we have provided 300 food packs, repaired 75 toilets and constructed 12 new ones. Our food packs consist of rice, dried fish, milk and mungbean. We are selecting the most needy among the residents as recipients. We are focusing our assistance in 2 barrios in Albuera Municipality and these are Talisayan and Benolho. Our toilet is the same design that we implemented before and mainly consist of coconut lumber framing, concrete septic tank and flooring, galvanized iron roofing. Aside from constructing toilets, and due to demands by many, we are also able to train local artisans on how to manufacture toilets and its parts. In this way, our efforts is replicated many times.
Again thanks so much for your support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
