Dear Valued Partner:

Thank you for making a difference to almost 1,000 school children at Nchiru Children's Village in rural Kenya by ensuring a weekly fish meal! Your support feeds school children and also advances the Sustainable Development Goals #12: Responsible Consumption and Production

With your support, The Ugly Fish project, is an example of a closed-loop, holistic system designed to foster sustainability and responsible resource management.

What makes this initiative truly remarkable is the innovative approach taken in utilizing every aspect of the fish farming process. The byproducts of the fish, once harvested, are dried and ground into a nutritious powder. This powder is then repurposed to feed the fish and support the school livestock program that includes pigs and chickens. And even further, the nutrient-rich powder is incorporated into the soil supporting a school regenerative agriculture program to grow nutrient dense fruits and vegetables for school meals. This closed-loop model not only minimizes waste but also maximizes the positive impact on the environment and the well-being of the people it serves.

You made The Ugly Fish Project a success! You played an important role in making this vision a reality. Your support goes beyond the tangible outcomes—it resonates in the smiles of schoolchildren enjoying nutritious meals! Thank you!

We remain sincerely grateful for your support! Please consider a donation on Giving Tueseday because GG will amplify your gift with bonus funds!

Wishing you a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving!
