Uklidme Cesko (Lets clean up Czechia) organises and supports clean-up activities all over Czech Republic. The main spring term: 29.3. 2025 and autumn term is 20.9.2025 (Word Cleanup Day). Dumps and litter in Czech cities, villages, and countryside
The main activity of the association Uklidme Cesko is organizing the nationwide cleaning event Uklidme Cesko, with the goal of actively fighting against illegal dumps and litter in Czech cities, villages, and nature. The heart of the project consists of volunteer organizers of local cleanups. They organize cleanups in places they choose themselves and ensure the smooth running of the event. We provide them with our know-how, promotion, supply gloves and bags for collecting waste.
For the general public - less litter in nature, cities, and villages in the Czech Republic, fewer dumps. Education, involvement in cleanups for all age groups. More and more children and young people are also getting involved. Those who participate in cleanups are less likely to create waste and illegal dumps in the future. Volunteers spend their free time in a meaningful way. We have been organizing volunteer cleanups since 2014, and recently, volunteers have been reporting less waste.
