During the period between August and November, actions were carried out to improve infrastructure, create reading spaces, and strengthen the capacities of educational staff. In total, 7 Preschool Centers and 10 Childcare Centers benefited from these interventions, directly impacting 330 preschool children (3-6 years old) and indirectly impacting 596 children (6 months-6 years old) through training programs for teaching and administrative staff.
These actions contribute to ensuring safe, stimulating, and healthy environments that promote children's learning and holistic development.
Details of Interventions
1. Educational Infrastructure
The physical conditions of two preschools were improved, one in San Marcos and the other in San Pedro Sula.
• In San Marcos, improvements were made to the windows and suspended ceiling, directly benefiting 18 children.
• In San Pedro Sula, air conditioning was installed and the preschool classroom floor was resurfaced, also benefiting 18 children.
These improvements contribute to creating safer, more comfortable, and more suitable environments for early learning.

• The training was conducted under the "Born Learning in Healthy Environments" program, totaling 1,720 hours of instruction.
