Uniting Communities

Introduction

Countries are faced with needs that far exceed the resources that they are able to expend, making it even more difficult to improve lives and build a sustainable future for all. The challenges that we tackle are varied, but they are all connected by the unfortunate central themes of environmental degradation, mismanagement and lack of resources and support.

We work with our local partners to allow them to direct our work so it impacts on a local level but also contributes to our mission and the 17 Sustainable development goals. This encourages local growth, which ultimately leads to long-term sustainability. A donation of $25 trains one community member in sustainable development.

2024 And We Going Solar

Families Given Portable Solar Packs For Their Home

Hello Action Changers!

So, our charity is pretty cool because we help communities around the world tackle big problems with the help of our team of experts. What's even cooler is that by addressing one issue, we can actually help with other global problems too and we educate and equip community members and influencers that are already passionate to make bigger changes for their community.

In Africa, some communities have been dealing with really high energy bills and not enough power from the government. This has led to something called loadshedding, where they have to go without electricity for up to 11 hours a day. Imagine trying to study or work in the dark! It's a real challenge and current country power is still being generated from fossil fuels such as coal power stations.

That's where Action Change comes in (again). Working with a speical funder and solar specialist in the UK we are have been awared 70 solar systems for Africa.These systems are innovative designed and be donated to us in the request that we test the systems and feedback on their usefulness for communities in rural and basic townships acorss Africa. We started providing solar power to families in South Africa and Zimbabwe at the start of this year. So far, we've helped 35 families get solar lights and internet connections, which not only saves them money but also reduces the use of coal power overall in South Africa.

Now, we're gearing up to bring solar power to even more places like schools, farms, and more families. We have the equipment ready to go, but we need to raise $6,000 to cover the costs of installation and safety checks. With your help, we can make sure these communities have access to clean, sustainable energy by June! Let's do this!

Please help us share our amazing story so we can attract new supporters to our project and maybe even get some young people to help setup fundraisers so we can really help these familieis, schools and community farms to move to soalr power!

Global sustainability

Our mission aligns with the sustainable development goals outlined by the United Nations, serving as a beacon guiding us towards a brighter future for all. These goals encompass a broad spectrum of global issues, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, prosperity, and peace and justice.

However, the path to improving lives and building a sustainable future for everyone has become significantly more challenging. The needs of countries far exceed the resources available to them. Currently, our donations are down by 80%, which has greatly impacted our ability to make a difference.

We are in a critical period where we need as much help as we can get. Your support can play a pivotal role in helping us continue our work towards these important goals. Together, we can overcome these challenges and create a sustainable future for everyone.

Long-term sustainability is our ultimate goal. We work closely with our local partners, allowing them to guide our efforts. This approach ensures that our work has a local impact while also advancing our mission and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. This strategy fosters regional development, ultimately leading to long-term sustainability.

However, we are currently facing a significant challenge. Our donations are down by 80%, which has greatly impacted our ability to carry out our initiatives. We are in a critical period where we need as much help as we can get.

All contributions are invaluable to us. They enable us to fund all of our initiatives and direct your contributions to areas with the greatest need at any given time of the year. For instance, a $50 donation will pay for the attendance of two community members at a sustainability workshop.
