Dear Global Givers,
Sex trafficking remains a grave concern worldwide, with vulnerable populations at a higher risk of exploitation, especially those living in poverty. To combat this issue, we are happy to share a positive update on our ongoing mission to uplift families from poverty to prevent sex trafficking.
Over the past few months, we have made significant strides in our efforts. We have successfully identified new families in dire need of support, ensuring that our resources are channelled towards those who are most vulnerable to the dangers of poverty and potential involvement in sex trafficking.
Although we have yet to provide the goatry units to the newly selected families, our model has showcased tremendous promise. We've invested substantial time in thorough family assessments and community outreach, reaffirming our commitment to a targeted approach that maximizes the long-term success of poverty alleviation and the prevention of sex trafficking.
Orientation sessions have been conducted for the beneficiaries, equipping them with essential goat care and management knowledge. This preparation is vital to ensuring the project's sustainability and the families' economic well-being.
We are grateful for the generous support from offline and online donors. We have received donations to provide 18 goatry units so far to the identified families. These families are earning through the sale of goat’s milk and have also been saving on the household milk expenses. The earnings and savings range from $10-$24 per month per family. This financial backing has been instrumental in advancing our mission and positively impacting the lives of those in need.
Furthermore, our commitment to community support is exemplified through our community-sharing model. Two families who have received goatry units have graciously shared the offspring of their goats with other community members.
Looking ahead, our next quarter holds the exciting promise of distributing the much-anticipated goatry units to the selected families. We will continue to closely monitor the progress of these families, providing support and expanding our community-sharing model to amplify the positive impact of our initiative further.
We extend our gratitude for your unwavering support and belief in our mission. Your contributions drive the positive change we strive to achieve. Together, we are making a real difference in the lives of these vulnerable populations and, in turn, combating sex trafficking at its root.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Team iPartner India
