We aim to provide support for the victims NS to ensure that their basic needs are met to bring back dignity and hope. 1. Freeing the mothers of the victims of NS to provide full time care while providing income to the affected families by employing the fathers in the farm to feed their family. 2. The local community will be trained in modern and commercial farming to overcome the adverse effects of climate change that has affected the traditional subsistence farming in this community.
The victims of Nodding Syndrome (NS) are dying of starvation due to neglect and climate change aecting food security.Currently, there is no support for the victims of NS from any NGOs and a limited support from the government of Uganda. The government of Uganda attempts to support the victims of NS was hampered by corruption and limited funds, hence innocent victims of NS are starving to death. Therefore, there is an urgent need for food security and services for the victims
