URGENT CALL: EDUCATION FOR SYRIAN CHILDREN

Over the past three months, COOPI has intensified its efforts to support vulnerable communities in Syria, with a strong focus on education. As part of the Education in Emergency project, we have ensured continued learning for over 2,400 children in rural Damascus through:

• Providing school supplies and kits to teachers and students, including notebooks, pens, and other materials needed for learning.
• Running a Back-to-Learning campaign to encourage families to send children back to school and raise awareness about the importance of education, while also helping prevent school dropouts.
• Training teachers to improve their skills and teaching methods, ensuring better quality education for the children.
• Providing emotional support for teachers and students through activities that help them cope with stress and the trauma of the ongoing crisis.

As the situation in Syria and the broader region remains unpredictable, COOPI remains steadfast in its mission to provide aid and hope to the most vulnerable. With the support of donors and partners, we continue to create opportunities for children, teachers, and families affected by the crisis.
